Residents MUST NOT interfere with the correct operation of the fire doors or any of the fire safety features of the building and should ensure that they regularly test that their own smoke and heat alarms operate when tested.

Residents MUST report any damage or failure of the fire safety systems within the building to the Responsible Person without delay.
